HBA’s 57th commencement ceremony took place on June 5 at the Waikiki Shell. For the first time in HBA’s history, six valedictorians and one salutatorian were named. Twenty seniors out of 102 were also recognized for attending HBA since kindergarten.
“We have permission to fail and to genuinely love whatever it is that we’re doing,” said Brad Shimizu, senior advisor and teacher, in his commencement address. “And let’s do so boldly.” Best wishes to the Class of 2010 and their families.
