9th-12th GRADES:
1. There will be a dress code exception allowed in special recognition of our May Day celebration for Tuesday, April 27th as follows:
a. Boys and girls will be allowed to wear a collared aloha shirt and jeans (long pants). However, aloha shirts must remain buttoned down at all times and cannot be worn as an open jacket to display whatever T-shirt is underneath. Also, jeans shorts are not allowed.
b. For girls, muu muu's are also allowed but cannot be worn off-the-shoulder or with spaghetti straps.
As always for the high school, on dress code exception days, you are either "all in" or "all out" of the normal dress code. If you are observing May Day, please follow the above exception dress. If not, you should be in normal school dress.
As an example of a violation and being out-of-dress code, students should NOT be wearing the HBA uniform shirt and jeans.
Thank you for your cooperation and participation in celebrating May Day! {Mr. Namba}
