•
CEW T-Shirts: Students have received their T-Shirts. If there is a problem, contact Mr. Lockridge or Mrs. Gruspe at the Christian Ministries Office at 595-6301.
The Christian Emphasis Week theme of Compassion is another facet of the focus
Be Presevering. I look forward learning more this coming week. Please take this opportunity to learn from all the seminar leaders and discussions with your fellow students.
BeAttitude ABCs 3rd Quarter Focus Be Persevering in doing good to others:
Showing perseverance in doing good is:
• Finding discipline within yourself, not just outside yourself. Not waiting to be told or reminded. Not giving up when the first thing goes wrong.
• Holding your self accountable for meeting commitments. Asking for help when you need it. Finishing most projects you start. Being a joyful giver.
• Setting goals and working toward them regularly. Giving 110% to all of your activities.
• Living lives as a peacemaker. Getting rid of habits that don’t help me to live as God wished me to live with others; as children of God.
Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons of God. (Matthew 5:9)
Students exhibiting this trait will be celebrated at our BeAttitude Assembly on March 30th during Advisory period.
From Supplemental Programs Director, Mrs. Yahata:Our Summer School 2010 schedule has been posted on HBA's website. The catalog will be online on April 5; no hardcopies will be distributed as of this year. Registration forms will still need to be mailed or walked in.
